\nPor motivo del COVID-19 no se presentar\u00e1 el festival en vivo como tradicionalmente se lleva acabo. Guelaguetza es la acci\u00f3n de dar y compartir. Este domingo 26 de julio el Ballet\u00f3rico Mexicano Nueva York, Mano a Mano: Cultura Mexicana Sin Fronteras, Socrates Sculpture Park, The Connected Chef, y Astoria Mutual Aid Network estar\u00e1n distribuyendo despensas alimenticias en solidaridad con la comunidad.<\/p>\n
Se dar\u00e1 una despensa por familia. Para recibir su despensa debe registrarse. Fecha limite de registro: 24 de julio.<\/p>\n
Se le enviar\u00e1 un c\u00f3digo de registro para recoger su despensa.<\/p>\n
Cubrebocas y distanciamiento social son requeridos.

\nThis summer, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Socrates is unfortunately unable to host Ballet Folkl\u00f3rico Mexicano de Nueva York’s (BFMNY) beloved Guelaguetza Festival NYC \u2013 which had brought vibrant traditional Oaxacan music, dance, food, and more to the Park for the past two years.<\/p>\n
However, because the word “Guelaguetza” is associated with the action of giving and sharing, this Sunday, July 26 BFMNY \u2013 in partnership with Mano a Mano: Mexican Culture Without Borders, The Connected Chef, and Astoria Mutual Aid Network \u2013 will be distributing food bags in solidarity with our community. One bag of food per family; online registration is required at bit.ly\/GNYC20 Please remember to wear a mask and maintain social distancing when picking up your food bag.<\/p>\n
