Socrateens Group Exhibition: End of Year Reception

\nJoin the 2024-2025 Socrateens as we celebrate our year!\u00a0 Meet these future art workers and young champions of ecological stewardship – see their work!
\nThese NYC high-schoolers met weekly, expanding their understanding of artistic practice and process, focusing on photography. For the winter session, the teens worked with our partners WORTHLESSSTUDIOS and learned about analog photography, art history, and darkroom printing in their Airstream-trailer-turned-darkroom. Their explorations of solar energy and sustainability in Summer 2024\u2019s Socrateens Resilience Lab provided context for their projects this past Fall and Winter. The public is invited to the opening reception at the Park to view this culmination of their work. Light refreshments will be served.
