Embodying the concept of Nepantla or \u201cin-between-ness\u201d from the Nahuatl word of \u201cmiddle,\u201d Koyoltzintli draws from ancestral practices of indigenous land stewardship to acknowledge climate change and initiate the process of environmental remediation. The small sculptures became part of Ticnu.
