LIC Community Boathouse offers free kayaking from Socrates’ beach at Hallet’s Cove (enter at 31-10 Vernon Blvd). Weather permitting. No prior boating experience required, equipment is provided. First come, first served. All ages welcome, minors (under 18 yrs.) must have a parent/guardian present.
